    Autumn Equinox (March 2026)

In this replay of our live Autumn Equinox Gathering, we move through a gentle and nourishing practice of yin yoga, pranayama and kriya. This practice is an invitation to pause and honour what has come to fruition in your life, and consciously release and let go of what is ready to fall away, as we transition into the darker half of the year.

During the practice, you will be guided through some Autumn Equinox inspired reflection prompts that you may like to journal about before or after class. Such as:

    • What has come to fruition in my life over the past season that I feel grateful for?

    • What lessons or growth can I harvest from the experiences of the past few months?

    • What am I ready to gently release or let fall away, like leaves from a tree?

    • Where in my life am I being invited to restore balance and harmony?

    • What intentions feel aligned as I move into the quieter, more inward season ahead?

Please have a bolster, cushion, blanket, journal or any other supports that you like to have close by.

I have intentionally created a Spotify Music Playlist to compliment this practice, which you can access here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1keBTye4XJ0aToEOtY57Gf?si=95e4xfc9RYCckABw2euG8A

Autumn Equinox Meditation for Letting Go

As we arrive at the Autumn Equinox, we begin the natural transition toward the quieter, inward phase of the year - the coming of winter and its invitation to rest and renewal.

Just as the trees shed their leaves, releasing what no longer serves, we too are called to let go, clear space, and turn our attention inward.

Join me in this guided meditation to honour and celebrate this sacred season of release, reflection, and balance.

    Journal Prompts:

    • What do I need to let go of to find greater balance in my life?

    • Which metaphorical leaves am I ready to release?

    • How does the changing season affect me mentally, emotionally, or energetically?

    • What nourishing practices can I create to support my well-being throughout Autumn and Winter?

If you do not currently experience a menstrual cycle, this practice is still suitable to connect to the energetic womb space and send loving awareness to this part of your body. As an alternative, you may like to connect to the lunar cycle and the energies of the dark moon which align with menstruation.

This practice is an invitation to slow down, nurture your body, and connect deeply with the cyclical wisdom of your womb. Setting up your space with intention can help you drop into a state of ease, softness, and surrender.

    🕯️ Create a Sacred Environment:

    • Dim the lights or light a candle to signal to your body that it’s time to rest

    • Gather supportive props: bolster, pillows, blanket, eye pillow, and an optional heat pack for extra comfort

    • Place your journal nearby for post-practice reflection

    • Set your phone to do not disturb or silent mode to support uninterrupted rest

    • Consider adding soft music, essential oils, or a grounding crystal if that feels good for you

    Samhain Affirmations Activation x Meditation

Samhain Blessings! Samhain invites us to contemplate the cyclical nature of life and death. Just as the leaves fall from the trees and the earth enters a period of dormancy, so too do we experience cycles of growth, decay and renewal. By embracing the inevitability of death as a natural part of the life cycle, we can cultivate a deeper appreciation for the preciousness of each moment and the interconnectedness of all beings.

The affirmations we will be working with in this practice are:

    - I honour the darkness within me, as without it there can be no light

    - I clear and transmute all negative energy that comes to me

    - Every ending is a new beginning

    - I honour the cycless of life and death, embracing the wisdom of my ancestors

    - I hold hands with time

    - I pass from one world fearlessly into another

    - The veil is thin. I am open to receiving messages from the spirit world

    - I celebrate my shadows and embrace the lessons that they bring

    - I am surrounded by the love of those who have passed and I welcome their guidance

    - As the dark moon rises, I embrace the mysteries and the magic that lie within me

    - I am a bridge between worlds, honoring the past whilst creating my future

    - I heal the wounds of the women and ancestors who have gone before me, and I will not pass those on from me to the future generations

    Samhain Yin, Kriya & Meditation

Samhain (pronounced Sow-in) marks the Celtic New Year and the turning of the Wheel toward the darkest part of the year. It is a time when the veil between worlds is at its thinnest - a sacred threshold between light and shadow, life and death, seen and unseen.

Samhain was once a night of ancestral reverence, a time to honour those who have passed, to invite their presence, and to reflect on the cycles of death, transformation, and rebirth that shape us all.

In this 65-minute yoga and ritual practice, we will honour the spirits of our ancestors and the wise women who have walked before us. Through a blend of Yin Yoga, Kriya, Mantra, and Trataka (candle gazing meditation), we will embrace the healing power of darkness, tune into our inner knowing, and reconnect with the lineage of love and resilience that lives within our bones.

    • Gather photos or sentimental objects that carry the energy of your ancestors

    • Place these items on a small altar or within your practice space to serve as a focal point of connection

📝 Journal Prompts for Reflection & Inner Work:

    • What in my life is coming to an end? What am I grieving right now, whether gently or deeply?

    • What am I afraid to face within myself? How might I gently embrace the hidden or shadowed parts of me?

    • What wisdom or strength lives in the darkness? What can this quieter, slower season teach me?

    • What do I value about this time of year? And what resistance or fear arises as the light fades?

This practice is a sacred pause, a moment to remember, reflect, and reclaim your connection to the unseen realms. I hope it offers you comfort, clarity, and the courage to walk forward with the strength and guidance of those who came before you. x

Yin Yoga for the Luteal Phase

The luteal phase is our inner autumn of the menstrual cycle, the time between ovulation and menstruation that typically lasts around 10 to 14 days. During this phase, hormonal fluctuations can lead to a range of physical and emotional sensations such as fatigue, bloating, mood shifts, breast tenderness, irritability, heightened sensitivity, and increased hunger.

If you're feeling any of these things - you are not alone. This practice was lovingly created for this moment in the cycle, to offer you space to slow down, listen in, and support yourself with gentleness and ease.
