    Breathe Easy

    In this gentle restorative yoga class, we’ll turn our attention to the breath, exploring it with curiosity, observing our habitual patterns, and inviting more space, softness, and ease into the body.

    This practice is especially supportive for women who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, or shallow, rushed breathing, as well as for those recovering from colds, flus, chest infections, or respiratory challenges that have impacted the natural breath rhythm.

    Through supported postures, mindful breath awareness, and intentional rest, we will create space for the breath to flow more freely, helping to soothe the nervous system and restore vitality from within.

    Cold Moon Restorative Yoga

    The Cold Moon, traditionally named by Native American tribes, graces the sky in June in the Southern Hemisphere, marking the arrival of winter.     Dark Moon Restorative Yoga

    Dark Moon Blessings! We’ve arrived at the quiet close of another lunar cycle. The Dark Moon is a time of deep stillness, not for manifesting or setting intentions, but for rest, reflection, and release. This is an invitation to turn inward, to soften into the shadows, and to nourish yourself without the pressure of productivity or "doing."

Through long-held, supported postures, pranayama, and intentional stillness, this class invites the body to shift out of “fight or flight” and into a parasympathetic state where true healing and digestion can occur.

  • Restorative Yoga for Menstruation

    This gentle restorative yoga practice is designed specifically for day 1 of your cycle or any time during menstruation. We will be focusing on honouring and supporting the womb, soothing cramps and fullness in the pelvis and womb space, releasing menstrual shame and cultivating deep inner connection. This practice emphasises rest, nurturing, softness and surrender during this time.  

    If you do not currently experience a menstrual cycle, this practice is still suitable to connect to the energetic womb space and send loving awareness to this part of your body. As an alternative, you may like to connect to the lunar cycle and the energies of the dark moon which align with menstruation.  

    This practice is an invitation to slow down, nurture your body, and connect deeply with the cyclical wisdom of your womb. Setting up your space with intention can help you drop into a state of ease, softness, and surrender.

    🕯️ Create a Sacred Environment:

    • Dim the lights or light a candle to signal to your body that it’s time to rest

    • Gather supportive props: bolster, pillows, blanket, eye pillow, and an optional heat pack for extra comfort

    • Place your journal nearby for post-practice reflection

    • Set your phone to do not disturb or silent mode to support uninterrupted rest

    • Consider adding soft music, essential oils, or a grounding crystal if that feels good for you
