    Awakening Shakti

Shakti translates to “power” or “energy.” She is the living, breathing essence of the Divine Feminine, the force we can see, feel, and embody. Often associated with the Goddess, Shakti is the dynamic pulse of the universe itself, the energy of creation and transformation.

In this Shakti Flow, we’ll awaken this powerful energy within our own bodies. Through movement and breath, we’ll tap into the intrinsic life force that animates all of life, the same energy that moves the tides, allows the flowers to bloom, and fuels our creative fire.

🎵 I highly recommend playing this Spotify playlist, intentionally curated to support your journey into Shakti energy.

    Flow with the Seasons

"Anything that has a 'life' has a cycle, and by understanding the cycle, the wisdom inherent within a cycle, one can be with 'what is' and flow with that energy, rather than incur the problems of not doing so" - Jane Hardwicke Collings

In this practice, we use pranayama, kriya, and mindful movement to flow with the rhythms of the four seasons and reconnect with our cyclical nature as women. Together, we explore both our inner seasons and the outer cycles of nature, inviting harmony between body, mind, and the natural world.

    Sacred Land

Sacred Land is a devotional Shakti Flow yoga class that invites you to deepen your relationship with the earth beneath your feet. Rooted in reverence for Country, this practice honors the First Nations and Indigenous peoples of Australia as the original custodians of the land, acknowledging their history, wisdom, resilience, and culture.

Through breath, fluid movement, and grounded presence, we listen to the land as our teacher - remembering that yoga is not separate from place, but shaped by where we live, work, and practice.

This class also honors our women ancestors - those who have tended to the land, carried community, held ritual, and nurtured life across generations. We move in gratitude for their care, strength, and intuitive knowing, allowing Shakti to rise as a living remembrance within the body.

Together we weave intention, embodied flow, and moments of stillness to acknowledge lineage: the unbroken thread of yoga teachings passed down from teacher to student over centuries. We practice as an act of respect, remembrance, and reciprocity - grounding into land, lineage, and the sacred responsibility of being here, now.
