Dark Moon Restorative Yoga

Dark Moon Blessings! We’ve arrived at the quiet close of another lunar cycle. The Dark Moon is a time of deep stillness, not for manifesting or setting intentions, but for rest, reflection, and release. This is an invitation to turn inward, to soften into the shadows, and to nourish yourself without the pressure of productivity or "doing."

🕯️ Best Time to Practice:

  • On or around the Dark Moon

  • During menstruation or any time of low energy

🧘‍♀️ Setting the Space:
Create a soft, nurturing environment using:

  • Yoga mat

  • Bolster or cushions

  • Blanket

  • Eye pillow

  • Journal

  • Optional: Candles, calming scents, soft lighting

🖋️ Journal Prompts:

  • What were some of your significant accomplishments this past moon cycle?

  • What challenges did you face, and how did you grow through them?

  • What wisdom are you carrying with you into the next cycle?

  • How can I offer myself deeper rest and compassion in this season?

  • Where do I feel pressure to keep going, and what would it feel like to pause instead?

  • What does true nourishment look like for me right now?
