Yin Yoga for Self Healing
Welcome to this yin yoga practice designed to promote healing in the mind, body, heart and spirit. Self-healing is a personal and often non-linear journey and whilst our bodies have a remarkable ability and capacity to self-heal, things like stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and other emotional and mental factors can impede the healing process. In this gentle practice, we will move through mantra and yin yoga postures to help facilitate healing in both the physical, energetic and emotional body. I hope this practice can be a source of support and solace for you when you need it. If anything comes up throughout the practice, then journaling is a great way to process the experience. Sending you so much love as you navigate the journey of inner healing. Be kind to yourself. x
We open practice with the deeply healing Medicine Buddha Mantra.
This is a sacred chant used in Tibetan Buddhism and is believed to have healing powers. The mantra is traditionally recited for health, healing, and relief from suffering.
Om Tayata Om Bekanze Bekanze Maha Bekanze Bekanze Radza Samudgate Soha
This mantra can be translated to express reverence and invocation of the Medicine Buddha, who is known for his ability to heal physical and spiritual ailments. You can recite this mantra during meditation, prayer, or healing rituals to cultivate compassion and support the healing process for yourself or others.
