Release Tension Meditation

So often, we move through our day unconsciously holding tension in the body (this may be physically, mentally, or emotionally). This muscle relaxation exercise helps to reduce stress, tension and anxiety in your body by having you slowly and actively tense, then release your muscles. During the practice, each muscle should be tensed, but not to the point of strain. If you have any injuries or pain, you can simply skip over the affected areas.

*Please refrain from tensing the belly and pelvis/womb space if you are currently pregnant.
